A Typical Day

A typical day at Camp Pocono Trails is designed to be anything but “typical”. With so many activities to choose from and 5 activity periods per day (one of which you can select your favorite activity for), there is an endless amount of fun to be had at Camp Pocono Trails!

Camp Trips & Events

Expanded activities allow campers to enjoy optional off-site trips and special events.

Here’s a Typical Day at Camp Pocono Trails for Kids and Teens, Ages 7-17

7:45 Wake-up
8:30 Breakfast
10:00 1st Activity Period (Active: active aerobics, calisthenics, tennis, sports, health club, etc.)
11:00 2nd Activity Period (Less-active: drama, arts and crafts, nutrition class, cooking class.)

12:00 Swim or Showers
12:30 Lunch
1:15 Free Time and Rest (Some athletic facilities open. Video games, ping pong, letter writing.)
2:00 Choice Group Activity: You choose what to do.
3:00 Snack
3:15 4th Activity Period (Varies. Sports, swim, weights.)
4:15 5th Activity Period (Varies.)

5:15 Optional Swim/Showers
6:15 Dinner
7:15 Free Play (All sports facilities available)
8:00 Evening Activity (Dances, games, entertainment, movies.)
9:00 Snack Time
9:15 Free Play (All sports activities available. Most lit up outside.)
10:00-10:30 Bedtime (Varies depending on age)

All activities are grouped by age and gender. Sometimes there will be coed and group challenge sports. All evening programs are co-ed.

Sundays are special days with a different schedule and late wake up. Campers will weigh in and participate in an all-camp afternoon activity.

Once a week campers have the option of going on an out-of-camp trip.
