Director of Camp Vanguard

As Director of Camp Vanguard in Central Florida, Maxine (Max) Spadaro is a valuable asset to the New Image team. With over 20 years of teaching experience and over a decade of camping experience, her enthusiasm and love for children are evident in everything she does. She has been happily married for over 23 years and has two daughters, Jaimie and Stephanie. Her girls are part of the Camp Vanguard family and join her as staff members. Max believes in leading by example. You will find her with the campers on the basketball court, playing volleyball, swimming, or getting an aerobic workout. She knows every child by name and treats all children as if they were her own. Max's expertise, exceptional leadership skills and energy are unmatched. Her extensive knowledge and devotion to weight loss camping have campers returning year after year. Her excitement is unrivaled as each new season begins.
